Aurora Newborn Photographer // Client Session Guide Magazine

For a while now I’ve been struggling to get the information I want to share out to the people that need it. You. Yeah, you. I tend to be a wordy emailer (go figure, eh?) and I keep overwhelming inquiries. I have a slight obsession with magazines and their layout so I figured putting together a digital magazine would be a great option. I’ve actually toyed with creating my own inspiration magazine lately and even have a name. Now I just need about 73.4 more hours in each day. And a nanny. And a housekeeper. And…….  But for now I started with a session guide for my Denver lifestyle newborn moms-to-be.

Here’s a peek at the cover. You can see a little about what details are included. If you’re thinking about having a newborn photo session with me start by requesting this guide! This will probably answer many of the questions you have. It should help you make the most informed decision about hiring me and what to expect for the actual day of the photos. Shoot me a note up in the CONTACT tab or an email at rachaelATrachaelwooten.com. No pressure. Just facts. And babies.  <3

Rachael Wooten Photography is the premier newborn photographer for lifestyle newborn portraits in client homes using natural light.

SHARE this post (right down there) with your friends and family! Pregnant mamas in the Denver, Littleton, Aurora, Stapleton and Parker areas are my kind of gals. Thanks bunches.

Surprise Supplies and Hello Kitty | Denver Family Lifestyle Photographer

I’ve always had a thing for a mystery. Thriller movies, TV documentaries like Dateline and 48 Hours…….. and shopping. No, not the “go in and spy on a shop clerk to hopefully not get scammed out of your money” kind of mystery shopping.

The Hello Kitty store in the old Ogden Mall  used to get me every time. I’d have enough for the pencil box with all the secret compartments that I lusted over, but I literally couldn’t resist the surprise paper grab bag folded over and held with a pink sticker. Even choosing which bag in the whole basket was part of the fun. I’d rather buy one thing that’s a little less expensive and be able to throw in a mystery bag with the purchase. You never know what could be in there! Even though I bought it so many times that I should have known it was ALWAYS stickers, a piece of candy and an eraser.

Why am I talking about Hello Kitty? You can get the equivalent adult version of the mystery bag sent right to your house from Birchbox! I’m also a sucker for samples so this lives right in my alley. For a flat $10 you get a beautiful box delivered once a month, usually around the 10th. Not every box around the country has identical products so you never know what you’ll get. Sometimes they are all small like this month’s box and sometimes you even get some full-sized products. It’s all makeup and beauty related though. I love the pretty linen press paper description that comes along too.

Sign up here to join in on the fun! http://www.birchbox.com?raf=v3y0b  And no, I have no affiliation with Birchbox. I just can’t help but share shopping awesomeness!   :)

Product spotlight: Custom metal tin and disc

I’m still toying with packaging options. I LOVE the custom disc folio with silk ribbon and two prints which you can see here, but sometimes I like to have a few options. One of my favorite things is including your photos into all the products you order. You’ll see that my packages all include digital files. How you get these back to keep forever makes a big difference! My goal is for everything I create for you and your family to be custom. That’s part of the quality over quantity process, right?!

I’ve been wanting to try out these metal disc tins for a while now. They totally did not disappoint. They’re kind of sparkly in that metal way and so modern. I always create custom discs to match whatever version of folio we choose. These look so good together! I have one more option I’m toying with and will show it off as soon as I get it designed.

Let me know what you think of this! (rachael@rachaelwooten.com) (facebook) (twitter)
