Denver Lifestyle Photography // 10 Favorite Nursery Designs

In honor of our fun ‘Best New Nursery in Denver’ August contest, I thought I’d throw a little inspiration your way! Here are 10 amazing baby nursery photos to get your creative motors running.

Why do these nurseries stick out? Details. Many of these are so simple if you look at the details, but they are personal. When things are made by Mom or found in Grandpa’s house they carry so much more weight. Paying attention to the little things can take away the pressure and pull the look together. Don’t splurge on every single item. Pick one or two items like the crib and a great rug and design around them. Repurpose vintage or second-hand items with a little paint or fabric. Bring in items from your own childhoods. Mix modern pieces with rustic ones. Also note that the texture, colors and pattern matter most in the overall design. That’s what pulls you in and makes you want to stay!

Neutral with pops of color.

Oooh, I like the soft yellow and olive, with maybe a hint of pink paisley?
