So. Life hasn’t given many lemons for lemonade lately, just a heck of a lot of snow. Nicole asked me if we could do a mini-session with her adorable boys for Valentine’s Day so we had to get creative for this time of the year. I knew of a great snowy path with trees right by my house that would make a gorgeous backdrop. The problem is that we have a 2-year-old and a baby which don’t mix well with snow. I didn’t think it would be too bad if we worked extra quick, but of course this weekend was the first totally overcast day we’ve had in Denver in a while. Let me tell you…. It. Was. FREEEEEZING. I couldn’t feel my fingers on my camera after just a few short minutes. These boys were beyond troopers though. This had to be a record for the shortest session ever, but is just as cool as the rest. No pun intended. Okay, maybe a little pun intended. There was only one time I had to have a tear wiped from Cole’s little lashes. Oops.
As Nicole told them under the promise of hot chocolate, “We’ll be cold for 10 minutes, but our pictures will last a lifetime!” They won’t remember any trauma, right? 😉
Happy Valentine’s Day!! <3
