Any of us who have had a 2-year-old boy might relate to this session. When we had our family photos done with Carson at 18 months old it was a totally insane experience. Every boy around this age that I have shot have totally dominated the session. It really all comes down to getting (and holding) their attention. I at least like to know that it isn’t just my kid…..
I met with Michelle, Dave and their 3 little ones. We were back in my home town of Ogden, Utah and decided to go to the Ogden Union Station. Sounds like a great location. Problem? Boys. Love. Trains. Cash, their 2-year-old, couldn’t have wanted less to do with whatever it was the boring adults were doing. In the end I am MORE than happy with what we got though. What is a memory if it isn’t accurate? I can report that big sister Ava and baby sister Jovi were absolute dolls. At one point Ava had her hand on her knee like she stepped out of America’s Next Top Model. She was working that camera. I love that Jovi and Max are cousins and only two months apart.
Michelle had everyone dressed so cute. The boys were in their skater clothes (Cash even had Dave’s childhood belt!) and the girls all had pops of purple. Oh, and could you just die for Cash’s mohawk?! It’s really all in the details. My family is pretty cool. 😉
