I want to say I feel guilty about this hiatus. But I don’t. There is nothing more important than just turning off the outside and being with the ones we love. Technically I was still plugged in to most things. I just had to take a break from thinking about my business. That’s not to say I don’t care about it at all! The real problem was that once I got to my third trimester I couldn’t really move well. I am a very physical shooter and this didn’t mesh. I’m not scared to climb or lay on the ground to get a shot. Believe me, if I got on the ground during this pregnancy I probably wasn’t getting up any time soon. Easily. I’ve still been working on the business side of things, just not the actual shooting part. Unless you count the numerous photos taken around the house. I have some new and exciting things to unveil very soon. Please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email about booking anytime!
I guess I have a whole lot of blog catching up to do on my new life with 2 dudes. Max William Wooten was born 6 days late at 6:48am on June 29, 2011. Exactly a month ago tomorrow. I had a wonderful birth experience and was lucky enough to come out of it with a fantastic baby boy. We are both healthy and learning how to love each other. I would be lying if I told you how I’m super woman and I’ve been amazingly productive. Nope……I have spent most of my days snuggling my guys and just staring at Max’s new face. He looks so much like Carson as a newborn, yet he is this new little life that I swear I’ve known forever. I really don’t care if my house isn’t clean, that dinner is non-existant (or burnt) and if the TV is on a little more than it should be. I never want to look back and regret spending time just watching them.
